In my opinion, the 90´s completely destroy today´s games when it comes to pure fun in games.

From 1990 to 1999 we saw:

-Super Mario World
-Super Mario 64
-Zelda a Link to the Past
-Zelda Ocarina of Time
-Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64
-F-Zero
-StarFox and StarFox 64
-Super Metroid
-Donkey Kong Country
-Super Mario RPG
-Street Fighter 2
-Sonic 1 and 2
-Streets of Rage
-Final Fantasy 6, 7, 8
-Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross
-Xenogears
-Metal Gear Solid
-Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3
-Castlevania 4, Castlevania Symphony of the Night
-Contra 3
-Godeneye 007
-Banjo Kazooie

And so many others gems.
