You think I don't know that? That's what I meant by my post. If none of those games had the mandatory installs, they would be of a much lower quality. Anyways, that factor probably had very little to do with Microsoft's decision not to include HD-DVD. The main factor behind that is that they want to push their file formats as the way forward with digital distribution, in which they can earn teh $$$s through royalties. And what's with the ellipses? It makes it look like you were cut short, and you actually had a decent point to make afterwards. |
Oh well sorry,i didnt think you knew that BR is slow atm,I didnt want to keep rambling on and on but...
Since 360 has no HD-DVD,There are no mandatory HDD installs, therefore they realsed the console with no HDD,That means the already cheap console can get cheaper, while the PS3 stays at 400$ the 360 is at 200$ for casuals who dont play games online alot and they can get it for christmas and birthdays...(Even tho i find PS3 is a better deal)
That right there is the main reason why 360 dosent have an HD disc format built in,But that could come back to haunt them if Sony makes a PS3 with advanced Blue Ray disc reader, that requires no Mandatory HDD installs...
