Taxing the rich more to pay a larger percentage of the bills is ok, taxing then just because people think the poor should get some of it, isn't. |
Don't worry, the money will probably go to Iraq before it actually goes to the poor. We spend way more on Iraq than we do on the poor.
@ rocketpig: I agree that people in California are in no way representative of the rest of the country. I was just using them as an example because Coca-cola was using them as an example of people who would be hurt. It wasn't really a very good example when the people he was pointing to are voting for the guy promoting higher taxes.
