If you have the technical know how you can do it yourself or maybe look to the person who modded it for you and see if they will repair it for a fee. I don't mess with the 360 but I've done some minor repairs and replacements of components on my original Xbox. I have very minimal soldering skills and technical prowess but was able to do it myself.
