It was made like the Jaguar original with the three campaigns, because the developers obviously really liked it. They are different games though. The PC game had three completely different campaigns almost entirely in different areas. The Jaguar game had one very large area, like a Doom environment but with no missions, just exploring like Metroid and Far Cry. Each campaign started in a different area. What I liked about the Jaguar game is that the developers just dropped you in the game with no goals. You had this true sense of exploring and surviving as you gained access to more restricted areas. Plus each different character (Lance, Alien, Predator) each played so drastically different from eachother it would rewrite your entire strategy on how to play the game.
