All that Bioshock PS3 sales shows is that timed exclusive with long delays between release and a cheap PC release in between means low sales when the game is finally released on the second platform.
It doesn't mean PS3 owners don't like FPS ( check DeadSpace sales).
So I doubt Take Two will make the same mistake twice...
Bioshock 2 will most likely not be a timed exclusive but release simultaneously on both platforms. ( or Microsoft will have to fork a lot of money as a long timed exclusive means huge sales loss on the second platform).
Take Two really F****D up.
They didn't release Bioshock on the PS3 last year when there was virtually no FPS competition on that platform except CoD4.
And they release it this year around the same time as DeadSpace, RFoM2 and CoD5...
The biggest part they messed was releasing the title for dirt cheap on the PC a few months before releasing it on the PS3..
PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !
PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
