Good article OP. I had read this before and meant to post it but got side tracked. It goes along with alot of what Nintendo felt was happening when it decided to take the Wii in the direction of the DS.
Recycled experience aren't cutting it in Japan.
Like I've been saying before, gaming & console gaming in general is not dead in Japan, HD gaming is.
The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!
...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?
