Me being a gamer would be interested in games, therefor I have every right to take part in this thread. 5) Yes, I do like Uncharted, but yes, I am also interested in this game as I believe TR:U will have more exploration then action which something I believe stopped Uncharted from being a master class game it could have been. I hope that TR:U doesn't make make the same mistake and sticks true to its roots of being an explorer adventure title with a smaller ratio to be handed out to gun fights and combat. Please do not go around calling people fanboys without any good reason. All you had to do is look at my games collection and you would have known me not to be a fanboy. The only time I was a fanboy was when I was a lot younger and was on the Sega bandwagon during the Nintendo and Sega console war. These days, I couldn't be bothered who wins what war as long as we gamers are offered a variety of AAA titles to fulfill our gaming needs. |
1. I've seen multiple other mods swear, and I did not. STFU could easily be an acronym for anything else. Personally, I never use foul language, so STFU is more of an acronym for shut the freak up.
2. But does that give them the right to come in here and start arguing graphics when it's VERY obvious they haven't even tried the game? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm the only person that's played the demo up to around the 10th post, and it's gorgeous. Yet Jo was obviously trolling, and taking it off topic by arguing about a Playstation 3 game.
And for the record: Just because Jo may have played a X360 before doesn't give him the right to make any statement he wants about the system. I've played a Playstation 3 before. That doesn't give me the right to argue about games I've never played on the system. Oh, and for the record: The demo came out yesterday afternoon. If Jo does not own a X360 (which he doesn't), then there is about a 99.99% chance he hasn't played the demo, which again, doesn't give him the right to attack the game when he hasn't seen it in motion.
3. How is it not trolling if he types a one-off sentence arguing the values of another game without contributing to the actual discussion about Tomb Raider: Underworld? It'd be totally different if he was actually discussing the game at hand. He was not.
4. The demo is exclusive to XBL. Therefore, the discussion is about the demo. Which is phenominal, btw.
And PSXtreme - I didn't say anything about thinking it was on the same level as Uncharted. I merely said others were arguing that on NeoGAF that have played both Uncharted and the TR:U demo extensively. Furthermore, if you want to argue that Uncharted fans (which, from my observation, is very similar to the concepts began in Tomb Raider) wouldn't like Tomb Raider, then feel free to argue it, but I don't think that's the case.
