| moe nl said: ok, ive a problem, or not a real problem but i can get real irritated by the following and i want to know how to get rid of it, and iof more people suffer from it.
when i write a website down, f.e. www.vgchartz.com in the urlbar normally it will go to this website. however, sometimes it bumps into "live search" saying do you mean "vgchartz.com". normally when i write the url wrong its fine with me, BUT i always check my url when i get is and i noticed alot of those "wrong cant find url live search screen" with a good written url. so honestly i think MS is doing it to compete with google since google is more way more used then the live search of microsoft. and they try to force me into their search by scripting it. so....
how i get rid of it? p.s installing firefox of netscape doesnt count ;) |
Seriously, install firefox, never ever use IE. IE is the single biggest threat to any windows machine, security problems go unpatch for years literally. Firefox patches security flaws in 10 days or less for 99% of problems. Also in addition to that Firefox is far more HTML compliant than IE.
Do yourself a favor and get firefox, people don't say this just to convert others, they say it because it is good for your computer and will save you headaches. You can import all of your IE bookmarks when firefox installs, it even asks you if you want to.
