LOL at the prerendered comments. It's all inengine there is no cgi so whats your point? According to your comment would mean 80% of MGS4 is prerendered.

Also is this thread still going????

You cannot claim that you know the story from a 4 mins video. And as said before there is probably 20 mins of boss fight that wasnt shown. *sighs*.

Average review score = 93 metacritic. you will see.

Again, the ending cutscene and most of the other cutscenes in Gears 2 is a prerendered movie file, while in MGS4 all cutscenes (except 2) are polygonal demos rendered on the fly by the PS3 and you can interact with them in realtime (pan and zoom) and customise your character and other stuff, not possible in Gears 2 cutscene as it is a mere MPEG file. It's not a CGI coming straight from Maya (like a movie from a FF game), it is using slightly higher resolution in-engine assets instead, but with a dozen more characters and effects than Xbox360 could possibly handle in realtime at a viewable framerate. You can easily recognise which cutscene is realtime in Gears 2 and which is prerendered. Realtime ones involve a max of 3 - 4 characters and are plagued with severe framerate issues, pop ups, tearing and stuttering.

And i don't know if your next comment was pointed at me but, as i said before, i already finished the game, and without really spoiling anything i'd advise you not to expect a memorable (or long) last boss battle.

You are so sucked up by the whole cell thing arent you. I'll save you something. There has been plenty of Gears 2 ingame gameplay footage that beats MGS4 so your wasting your breath on me. I'm not sucked in by the whole Cell this cell that, As I wasnt with the Emotion Engine. Go lie down.

Also mister Ive played Gears 2. I know someone in real life who has finished it. He said the boss was EPIC. So you fail again troll
