Maybe the other parts will be the best graphics the 360 has ever seen (on a HD screen), but judging from this it looks underwhelming (compared to expectations).

You need to play the game before saying the story sucks

 

 

I personally finished Gears 2 and the story is pretty weak. It is marginally better than the first, but still mediocre and very underdeveloped compared to many recent games. The writing and voice acting is also among the worst in recent memory. I guess they didn't hire a professional novelist and director like they were saying after all.

Oh, and one more thing, the ending - just like most of the action cutscenes in Gears 2 - is prerendered, not realtime, so talking about graphics regarding it is useless.
