I must be the only person on earth who doesn't like the Gears of War commercials.
I've seen three so far. One was Mad World, which I couldn't take seriously. The song was nice, but the things on screen just didn't fit. And there was another commercial with a similar song and feel to it, but I swore that if it went on for another 30 seconds, they would have taken off their armor and started kissing. Again, I can't take it seriously.
The third one was the only one I've actually seen on TV, where it shows several ships and armies and it gives you a feel for the struggles that take place in the game. However, the commercial ends with Marcus talking to a guy in a cowboy hat. Yeah, a cowboy hat. That really overdoes the whole frat thing. A cowboy hat? Just...wow.
