But, if this does turn out true, I'd be in for one.

They don't sell too many memory cards or wireless accessories. So its a way to increase value without dropping the price, because at this point im sure from here on out they want to increase or at least sustain their margins.

"I think the biggest hurdle to a slim 360 would be the HDD. If it weren't for that, it would be a given that they were making one. It would take some clever doing to roll out something like that and continue to support the current boxes. I guess it could be done though."

The biggest hurdle for shrinking the Xbox is that external HDD. But in anycase once the size of the HDD increases to over 100gb the need to actually replace it reduces quite substantually really.
