How are the graphics ?! better than metal gear? better than uncharted of COD 4?

graphics are good but nowhere near as good as uncharted/metal gear solid/cod 4.

it looks like an improved version of battlefield bad company(but better)

Must be a big difference between consoles to PC then, the PC version looks much better than CoD4 or Uncharted.  It beats out MGS4 as well, but not quite as handily. I think KZ2 and Resistance 2 will both edge out even the PC version though from what I've seen, so it's not supreme or anything.

Is there a demo on PSN I could check out?  I'm curious how big the difference is or if this is just a subjective difference of opinion, and I haven't logged on to look at demos in a while =P

I think it is well documented that there is a substantial drop in quality from the pc version.  This game is meant to be played on the pc.  PS3 runs at a higher native resolution, but some reviewers prefer the look of the 360 version.

My bad then, I haven't followed the game very closely so...yeah =P  Some console games do look nearly the same as their PC counterpart (for instance Assassin's Creed).

If what you say is true then console "graphic whores" may want to skip this one.

I have to be honest though (and this applies to all versions) can someone explain to me how the gameplay is any more or less tedious than GTA?  It's the same thing, you have a map and missions at various locations...you choose which one you want to do and go there...sometimes you encounter problems along the way...very similar missions, light story elements sprinkled in at mission briefings, some missions are for weapon upgrade unlocks, some are far story advancement, etc.. etc...
