Its already happened:
- sold off European HQ building (around $500m US)
- sold off most (all? some?) of its financial services arm
- talking about selling/closing chip manufacturing factories, and moving to outsourcing model
There is also some conflict between Sony & SonyEricsson - but not sure if this will lead to selling off the division, or forming a "wholly owned" Sony mobile devision.
