by "third party are shifting to the wii, GREAT", I meant "Wii fan people at VGCHartz", not analyst obviously.
You say there's a lack of third party support, yea there is. But because devs got caught unaware. Wii would be in heaven right now if it had received the amount of good games the HD consoles received, but unluckily that was not the case. Wii only got the afterthoughts and scraps at the beginning of this gen and that's where the myth of "third party games don't sell on the Wii" comes from. I believe a huge portion of the core audience simply moved to the HD's because of the lack of good 3rd party support, but they will be coming back once the games start arriving as soon as early next year.

Personnaly, I dont believe Wii wil begin to sell to Hardcore since they just dont need it (Wii xmas line-up is amazingly poor for a hardcore)
As of late Japanese devs started shifting their attention towards the Wii and this year a lot of 3rd party announcements were made in comparison to the HD's. Still there will always be some stubborn companies like SE, Konami and Capcom I understand that. There's a very good list made by Onimusha with the upcoming Wii games, with tons of good ones coming out.

You need to understand the market before going out and saying the Wii is a crappy kiddy casual console and that "The empire" is going to get all the games. Just think about it, devs were caught unaware. If they have had the crystal ball, Wii would be flooded by good third party games.

I think Wii will stay the "casual console" forever
amazing sales (why not 200M LTD ?), but not amazing gaming line-up (outside Ninty games)
