They get sent the game most of the time ahead of launch. The games usually sit in stores for awhile before going on sale. Guitar Hero apparently goes out before street dates, though. Anyway, I'm just saying there is reason to be skeptical of Blue Dragon. I can see why it's hyped since it is the only decent RPG so far (Japanese-style) on the next-gen platforms. I'd hold out for Eternal Sonata or Lost Odyssey, personally (if just considering 360). This month is a great month for PSP and another PS2 RPG, Persona 3. The PSP is also getting Dungeons and Dragons Tactics that got a good score from PSM. I'm hoping it's good. It's out on the 14th. |
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.
Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
