Pity Capcom sees the PSP as a wasted venture now. And with as poor of software sales as it has, its hard not to blame them. They already dedicated numerous titles to the handheld in the early rush only to be burned. I doubt you'll see much outside of Monster Hunter games from them.

At best you'll see a RE port to test the worth of future games on the console, but nothing new I'm afraid. Still worth a shot, good luck.

I wonder if there are any petitions to port RE5 to the Wii, lol. Doubtful it could even be done though with all the advanced AI required.

With the crap they released they deserve poor sales. Funny how their decent games are some of the best selling ones on PSP. With Mh sales iam soo sure they see it as a wsted venture sure buddy. Tell me is the grass pink where you live ?

I don't know what's worse your twisted grammar or disconected progression of thought. If I honestly had any clue what you really said here I'd probably report it. Proof Read next time.

Also to whom ever brought it up, getting a collector's edition made is a far cry from having a brand new game thrown together on a handheld the developer has all but abandoned.

Your right , the fact that mhf2 was the best selling game in Japan for over 6 month means nothing for Capcom . Also the fact that this game represented over 80% of there total sales in March means nothing neither .

Please at least if you take the time to post , take the time to research to , and dont try to hide your lack of knowledge behind somebodys not perfect english grammar

Lack of knowledge, Yes, that's it entirely and not the fact that I lack the ability to read the words of those who speak in tongues. If you can find anything of value worth adressing within that monstrosity of a reply then I'll gladly use you as my interpreter and respond to it, otherwise, its inmatterial to the topic here.

Did you not see Capcom's statement that they felt the PS3 was too sluggish and the PSP a lost venture and thus why they've committed themselves to putting most of their support towards Nintendo's DS and Wii. Monster hunter games are a phenomenon not a trend, the PSP has proved this quite painfully for Capcom's other titles.

If your petition was for another Monster hunter game, then you'd probably do well. However that's not what you're petitioning. You're petitioning a Resident Evil game. Notorious for mediocre sales. And if the DS couldn't sell a Resident Evil title, why would expect them to believe the PSP could with inferior Software sales and a much smaller underbase?  And how does Monster Hunter's success justify anything other than Monster Hunter itself as every single other game Capcom has put on the PSP was a dissapointment? Even then, how is Resident Evil anything like Monster Hunter? I don't see how you can rationalize one garanteeing the success of another.

You're just ignoring the larger picture here in favor of singling out one aspect that benefits your hopes. Resident Evil will never do as well as Monter Hunter. A far more successful handheld, the DS, proved Resident Evil was not marketable on a handheld, at least not as a port, and trust me, that's all you'd be getting. Every other game Capcom has done other than Monster Hunter on the PSP was a failure. So.... Explain to me why they should listen to a fan-made western petition using the argument that a different game sold well in Japan?

I can't say you lack knowledge so much as you lack perspective. Try getting the whole picture next time.
