I don't think God of War games are huge sellers.
Yes, is a good series, but God of War II barely sold 2 millions with an install base of 120 million... besides, GTA4 is a multiplatform game, and both Gran Turismo and God of War are Sony exclusives, so, less install base.
If we talk about the three consoles this gen, the biggest seller will be Mario Kart Wii (excluding Wii Play and Wii Sports)... Mario Kart Wii already outsold Halo 3.
And also, Mario Kart Wii already outsold both the 360 and PS3 version of GTA4 individually.
