Just an FYI for those interested in how big Fable 2 is, and will be. I will (along with GOW2 when it launches) attempt to publish a little bit of information on possible sales leads for the games, using gamercard extrapolations.

What does that mean? It's the same methodology, but tailored for retail games. Because of this, we can get a very good approximation on first day, and week sales for any given X360 title. Also, there's been a ton of arguments about how F2 will sell week-1, so it'll be neat to track.

At any rate, Fable 2 is doing insanely well for under 1 day of tracking.

This is VERY impressive for Fable 2 for first day users/numbers. At 11,447 users this puts it just under the best days in the history of Xbox Live (according to 360V). Also, numbers are well above that of recent mega-release The Force Unleashed (VGC has it @ 580k first day), which had a paltry 6,000 concurrent daily users according to 360V.

This *may* insinuate that Fable 2 will reach 600,000-800,000 units for it's first week in North America + PAL, with the upper limit more likely. I talked to ioi, and he stated that North American first day sales were above the 250,000 mark which would lend to that idea (assume 500k first week in North America alone).

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
