halogamer, damn you. i come on to this site to escape my Uni work
I just finished a presentation on CMOS diodes and the continuation of Moore's Law. Since it was first posited in 1963, Moore's law has always been believed to only be valid for 10-20 more years. It is still believed to be valid for 10-20 more years
Seeing a pattern? Obviously Moore's law has a limit, the use of a single electron as a transistor is probably an unscalable barrier. But The limit will not be reached any time soon.
i can go into more detail into future production processes that will allow for Moore's law to continue if you really want an engineering lesson
