Now's the time to buy a PS2...actually, I'd wait in case they drop the price for Christmas.
The PS3 and 360 are still way too expensive for my tastes, but I admit that if you were a staunch Sony fan, now is a good time to get the "best" PS3 hardware for a better price than before. As for 360, the price drop is kind of weak and I'd want to wait until I'm SURE I'm getting a 65nm unit, but the system does have a good lineup and the price drop is better than nothing.
