The PS2 has a better GPU with more RAM. There's not really much of a way to make up for that, and even if the system could that would just mean (as mentioned) significantly worse battery life. Really, on a handheld the details are so small you shouldn't need the same power as the PS2 anyway.
You do not have the right to never be offended.
