Why are all three consoles this generation so ugly?

Seriously, why are they so ugly? They have no style at all. I mean, last gen, the GameCube resembled a cube with a handle, the PlayStation 2 looked like a huge black brick, and the Xbox had an ''X'' on top of it. How cool was that?

Now, we have the Wii that is just 3 DVD-cases stacked on top of each other. Why couldn't they think about something else? I mean, now they've evolved it from a cube to a rectangle, so next gen, I'm expecting to see a pentagon. Believe it. Oh, and why is it white? All the other consoles at least have a certain form of ''black.'' I mean, it doesn't even match with my home theater system!

The 360 has to be worst though. I just can't get the shape. It seems to have a certain abstract feel to it, but it's just a pathetic way to interpret a curved rectangle. I mean, it simply makes the console lose space in the inside! It can't breath! It's like if it's wearing an invisible corset. Then we wonder why it keeps getting red rings of death (even that, I think it's just for the aesthetic)...!

What about the PS3? Yeah, you've probably heard it before, and you can't really deny it: it looks like a grill, a ''shiny'' grill that is, it's not even funny! There's nothing interesting about a grill, especially when I just want to play games with it. With that said, a grill that plays games is pretty cool, but it's not making us get away from reality. I mean, that's what video games are for, right? I don't want to think about diner when playing my games.

I want all three console makers to hire me for their next console designs.
