I just went there today and they told me that I would go through the same situation as you.
I would have to wait a couple of weeks and make sure that it actually doesn't work, only then they'll give me a new one!
I'm thinking of buying a new Arcade (I kept the harddrive and everything) and waiting for my broken one to come back and then I'll return the Arcade. I'll do this just to be able to play all these games coming out in a couple of weeks!
