What makes you think that? You're referring to the PS3's XDR and GDDR3?

 

 It's extremely simple this MikeB. There is no need to complicate this. Have a look at the bandwidth speeds for the PS3 memory and the 360 memory. Then doing some maths you can work out what I have posted above. Bandwidth speeds of the memory in PS3 is what it's drawback is. The funny thing being it's very important to get the most out of a CPU. That is fact.
