Das Kapital?

No, I dont recall Karl Marx ever championing the idea of giving the middle class more money so that businesses could increase sales and have higher revenue to hire more employees.

I guess you did not read it after all. because what you just described is the core of what Marx described in that book.

As Reagan once said. "A Communist is someone that reads Karl Marx, A Capitalist is someone who understands Marx"

I guess for some, the lines between knowing what you are talking about and pretending to know what you are talking about are blurred.

The main theme behind Karl Marx's Das Kapital was the exploitation of the working class, specifically that a worker is being paid less than he is worth and is unable to do anything about it do the the power of the bourgeoisie.  I would love to see a Karl Marx quote where he supports the working class buying more goods from the bourgeoisie so that they can make more money.
