nah its not. The game is better with more animations and players wont miss wide open layups. As long as you use the sliders the game is amazing. If you do not use sliders you will be frustrated because players will be able to score too easily when they are on the low block. Also some of the player ratings are bad but nothing that you cant fix. Other than that the game is excellent and it is wayy better than 2K8
