My love hate relationship with my PSP

I love my PSP.  The screen is crisp, clear and bright.  Everything on it looks just great.

I love that it can be used to 'remote play' with the ps3.  view pictures etc.

It has a good battery life.

It makes for a great media player... well.. ALMOST.

This is where the hate comes in.

WHY CAN'T IT HANDLE A DIRECTORY DEPTH GREATER THAN ONE!?  I import a folder of mp3s to listen to.... an audiobook in this case.  And it's broken down by CD1 CD2 etc.. so you get a tree of /Music/Artist/Book/file.mp3

It refuses to even see the tree past and including "Book".

Can't even delete the directory from the psp, gotta use the old usb cable.

WHY IS THIS?

Anyone know a fix for this short of spending the time rquired to reorgaize, rename and change the MP3 tags of all the files in order to make this work?

It's a real PITA.  and IMHO, an easilly fixed one by sony!
