Fable 2 will allow two players in local mode, and will have an online mode as well.

 

I dont see any point playing this kind of game with your wife...

Having these modes doesnt means someone will want to play with you...

Nights 2 have a multiplayer mode local and online, still I always play alone...

 

 

ALSO, online play is one of the mode that will make you spend your life far from the one you love
