the demand for ps3 in CANADA is phenomenal but are not available in large quantities.

They are selling them at costco.

(for anyone who doesn't know what costco is, its a massive wholesale store.
The had at least 30 PS3's a month after launch sitting there.
Most of my friends either have a Xbox 360 or are planning to get one. ( I have two friends with wii's and I know a guy with a PS3.)
The xbox 360 is in much higher demand around here, or at least where I live, I check the sales of videogames in the newspaper and and the xbox has had the top 5 sales for the last month and the top selling for the last 4.
Though I live in a fairly rich city so it might be diffrent elsewhere
