You do realize in a bad economy, "spreading the wealth around" doesn't sound like such a bad idea to a lot of voters... including some who have higher incomes.
This great system is what allows us to live such great lives and be so successful. We pay to maintain that system. The system needs changes that are going to cost more, so we know we have to pay for it.
Taxes probably will go up for most Americans because there is market failure in banking, and market failure in health care.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
