Secrets of success for Microsoft:

Stealing Exclusives, and when they're first party, straight up ripping them off (Lips = Singstar, Scene it = Buzz)

Buying Exclusive games (too may to name, lol)

Price the system as if you don't care about profit. (Two EU price drops in less than 6 months)

Release your system early, so early that it has a huge design flaw that renders millions of consoles useless. (no explanation needed)

The one thing I will give MS credit for is the online system, which is second to none.

Let me apply that to last generation...

Nuff said.

Are you talking about PS2 or PS1 for stealing exclusives?  Price system...when it first came out it was just as expensive as how the PS3 started and slowing cutting price down. How long did it take the PS2 to get its price to -$200. I bought my huge PS2 when it first came out for like almost $500 and still works perfectly. I rarely hear about PS2 breaking down not like with X360 and its RRoD.
