Well, one thing that is causing times to change is these developers making these games multiplat. If they were only on PS3 then if people wanted to play them they would have to buy a PS3. However, FFXIII and MGS 4 will always be better on the PS3 due to blu-ray, etc, so it is just a matter of in the long run if people want to buy the best version of the game or if they would rather settle for the knock off because they are too cheap to buy a PS3. But Sony does have enough high quality internal developers as I pointed out before: Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Insomniac, Team ICO, Polyphony Digital, etc, to guarantee that they will be in second place come Holidays 2009. And I do expect to see Kojima's next game announced to be a PS3 exclusive (at least for a year and even if only in Japan it still makes a difference) by that time.
My most anticipated games: Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort. Cave Story Wiiware.
