games are target for the americans, low price, they buy hip things not matter if they are not as high quality as japanese counterparts.

look at cars.
honda toyota ford GM=chevrolet
Civic > Corolla > Focus > Optra.
but overall americans cars sell better.
europeans and japanese are smart people.
