Yeah, with the GC controller there wasn't a whole lot more they could do for the genre, I won't argue that one. And just so I am clear, I don't think the controls were horrible, I just never felt like they were special (to me special is when everything feels like a natural extension of your body). Given the choices they had I don't know that anyone could come up with a better control scheme, so in that regard if you want to say it was the "perfect GC control setup" I might be able to get on board that idea.
