Can you scientifically prove to me that 2+2= 4?

All science starts with definitions. How do you define 4 and 2?

Two and four are words.  Words describe ideas.  In this case, they describe quantity.  Numbers are defined by our perception of quantity.  Now stop making things more complicated than they need to be.
