I think PS2 and Gamecube owners are used to being nickel and dimed on accessories like memory cards. If these folks were to buy a Core system (it would have to be the right price point to attract them), they wouldn't feel ripped off. And remember, Wii owners don't have an option to buy an HDD version. They have to buy either a memory card or SD card to save their games, but this is considered acceptable.

You are missinformed, Wii comes with storage space to save games...lots of games. And anyone who has a flash card gets even more space to store games or import pictures.

Edit I currently have a little over 1700 blocks left and madden takes up 13 blocks.  All of my other games take up 1 or 2 at most. Then on top of that I have a 2GB SD card which has another 15,709 blocks to save even more stuff.  But I doubt I will ever really need the SD card unless I really get heavy into DL'ing games.
