Garnett, please read this, for your own sake.
"Sony made the PS3 seem 100x more powerful than Xbox 360 and all this stuff about 1080p and 60 fps is all talk,when they cannot do neither one,Also Blue ray isnt that good either DVD reads 16x while blue ray is only 2x thats what ever PS3 owner has to INSTALL data onto there HDD cause the blue ray is so slow."
All the 16X and 2X mean is that
current dvd players read at 16 times the speed of the first dvd player.
current blu ray players read at twice the speed of the first blu ray player
For a dvd, 1X is 10.5 Mbits/sec
For a blu Ray disc, 1X is 36 Mbits/Sec
What do you know, your point is still valid, even if your reasoning is wrong
16X dvd = 168 Mbits/sec
2X BR = 72 MBits/sec
2X HD-DVD = 72 MBits/sec
