mine sucked as I got stuck in an elevator for an hour on the way to dinner. I leave my apartment squeeze into the elevator with 8 other people and then the power goes out midway between floors trapping all but the tinyest child. Dinner was canceled as the venue closed up shop.

At least 178,000 people were without power after a massive outage that affected people on the southern half of Vancouver Island.
For nearly an hour, B.C.'s capital city was in the dark, as well as everywhere south of Ladysmith, near Nanaimo.
But as of about 7 p.m. Sunday, power started to flicker on in homes and businesses there.
"The power just went out, all over the place," Camille Johnson, 27, told CTV News from a restaurant in Victoria.
She said she had to pay cash when a restaurant's debit machine wouldn't take her card, and the traffic lights had also gone out.
BC Hydro's website says it's investigating why there is a massive outage, but hasn't figured out why the outage occurred."
