I am frightened by any new proposals from McCain. In all seriousness, what is he going to propose next...state ownership of the means of production? As I was watching "Meet the Press" this morning, there was an interesting idea for McCain's campaign: it may be too late but he needs to offer "straight talk." Go beyond blaming "Wall Street greed" and "Fannie and Freddie" for the mess, and put some of the blame on the people. Tell them they contributed to this mess. I am not sure if I agree with the new strategy, but McCain needs to try something different.
