This topic seems counter intuitive.

How are you supposed to recognize a game that you don't enjoy as "great"?

First line of the OP

"Are there games that everybody loved, got great reviews but you still didn't like them?"

Right, so greatness is supposed to be some quality inherent to a game that's simply identified by other people? Right.

SUIKODEN IS AN 8.2: HIGHLY PRAISED BUT NOT AAA.

THE HIVE HAS SPOKEN.

ALL GLORY TO THE HIVE.

No. You have to differentiate two things, what you think and what the "hive" (as you like to call it) thinks. To word it like you want, the OP is clearly asking "What games does the hive think they're great but you didn't like?". Because, you have to admit it, some games are held by the "hive" in greater esteem than others. And everybody can (and unevitabily would) disagree. For example, I think that Suikoden II is the best game ever made, but I know the "hive" doesn't, and most simply didn't play it. That doesn't make my opinion any better or worse, it's simply my opinion. As are the games I think weren't good and the "hive" liked
