Gamesutra has a postmortem for this game here.  Long read and in a nutshell the developer admits they f---ed up by not deciding early on what control scheme to use, eventually going to consumer testing then implimenting two different schemes - very late in the development cycle.   Which translates into two poorly executed controls schemes.

They also admit they sent it off to Nintendo too early and Nintendo rejected it (how freaking broken does it have to be considering some of the crap that does make it out!?) and they got caught with too few staff to work out the bugs, so they had to pull people from other projects to fix it and resubmit to meet minimum acceptable standards.

Bottom line - craptastic.

To be worse than Far Cry or Red Steel, the game must have a successful boot rate below 20%. What I mean is that both had game killing bugs, broken controls and subpar visuals. So to be rejected, BIA has to do something extraordinary like failing to boot or breaking the DVD drive.

I really hate EA for making souless games and licensed shovelware. Ubisoft is beyond that, they can`t even make (publish) a game that works.
