While not common, you can buy a pack which contains the controller and the dongle for only AU$10 more than just a controller (no idea what it costs outside Australia). The dongle is normally $30 by itself, so you save $20. You'll definitely have to search around for them though. In Australia, the only retail change which I know that stocks them are DSE.
