It's surprisingly good. I expected a terrible game, but this is a great game. Graphic wise, it isn't technically impressive, but the nightmare world looks great. The sound is great. Akira Yamaoka did a fantastic job with the music. The atmosphere is well done. The atmosphere is creepy, but the game isn't as scary as the first 3. The story is uninteresting around the first half, but it gets good at the second half.
The camera is no longer annoying. They finally fixed it. You can move it around with the right analog stick. The combat has been improved. You can dodge attacks, do combos with melee weapons and also aim with the guns. The game does feel a little bit more action-oriented. Also when roaming through the buildings, there are no load times. You can enter a room and there you are. It is way better than SH4 and Origins and probably SH3.
