I don't think these are sprites...looks like pre-rendered 3d images. Reguardless...for 800 ms points, I don't think we can ask for more than this. Gameplay is key...visuals not so much

 

I know that this is 3D.  What I'd rather have are good old 2D sprites.  By the way, I'm not trying to pick on this game, I'm just lamenting the death of sprite based games these days (outside of handhelds and some anamolies like Vanillaware games).
