Just like almost every MMOs, i've seen people losing their jobs for playing Everquest, WoW, Age of Conan, Ragnarok, etc., FFXI is not exception, i'm still playing it from time to time, it's my favorite MMO and now i play it with self control, but back in the days it caused me problems with my gf and my temp job...
