Meh... The Japanese developers are not struggling... It's just Squeenix that is and it's only because they pretty much supported Sony exclusively for the last 10 years and now the wind has changed and the PS3 is third so far.
Nintendo, Capcom, Namco and Konami are doing really good.
If they could release console games, perhaps it would help them to reach the western market.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
