It's sad to see the pile of shit that this once great franchise has become. Every single game Rare has put out since leaving Nintendo has proven that they were only a AAA developer when they were receiving support from Nintendo. They've had some good games since then, but nowhere close to their N64 glory days. If this was the true Banjo sequel it should have been, it might have sold me on a 360 at some point in the future.

Well, I am glad they did not cater to your nostalgia.

This could have been a top notch platformer.  Instead, it's Banjo's Garage.  The whole vehicle focus is mind-boggling.  I understand trying to do new things.  I even understand if the vehicle thing was a small part of it like the gummi ships in Kingdom Hearts, but it appears as if the focus is entirely on the vehicles.  It's just not right.  I still fire up the old ones from time to time and play them through enjoying them just as much as Mario 64 in some aspects.  As one of my favorite franchises, I'm actually somewhat offended by what's happened.  I hope there's more to it than there appears.  I hope I'm dead wrong.  I fear I'm not.

Keep this in mind when reading what I type...

I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
