We have seen a lot of game delays on HD consoles and PC this generation. I expect there will be more delays as the economy worsens over the coming years. It will hit a low before things recover again. Unfortunately all industries including game industry will be adversely impacted by the failing world economies.
More game delays and maybe cancellations could be expected due to companies unable to afford the expenditure on expensive video game projects that will sell less in hard economic times.
